INGREDIENTS:
- Vegetables - 2 cups or
- Green Chillies - 2 or 3 ( or as per required)
- Tamarind water - Little
- Turmeric powder - Little
- Sambar powder - Little
- Bengal gram - 2 tsps
- Coriander seeds - 3 tsps
- Red chillies - 3 or 4
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Urad Dhal - 2 tsps
PROCEDURE:
- Keep a kadai on the stove.
- Switch on the stove and add tamarind juice extracted from a lemon sized tamarind.
- Add turmeric powder, sambhar powder and boil it for 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced tomatoes to the tamarind juice.
- Boil it for another 5 minutes.
- Next, add all the unboiled vegetables (including green chillies) and cook it for another 5 minutes.
- Now, add the boiled vegetables and cook it till all the vegetables becomes soft.
- Then, add the grinded paste to the cooked vegetables.
- Cook it for 5 minutes and remove the contents from stove.
- Transfer it to serving bowl and serve it with the "Thiruvadirai Kali"
